Approximately 300 hard-working, deserving students attend the alternative school where I have been teaching since 2012. Our student population is highly culturally, racially, and economically diverse. Our staff strives to make connections between classroom learning and life outside of the school walls. I am making a difference in the lives of my students by giving them technical skills that they can use in higher education and careers.
