Having an Apple iPad for my students to use will help my students be engaged during my entire therapy session. During my therapy sessions, I often have students in a group. I have the students practice their speech/language skills one at a time for me. While my attention is on one student at a time I intend to have my other student use the iPad to practice his or her speech/language skills independently giving them extra practice. Having an iPad in my classroom will enhance the learning of my students by giving them opportunities to practicce their speech/language skills independently.
