I teach Modern Band to over 300 students in Lower Manhattan. We are a diverse school with students from all walks of life. One of the things that brings us all together is music. I center joy and community in my classroom and you can see it in the way the kids love coming to music class. Sometimes we need some supplies to help us keep the music going.
