• Let's Help Improve Success and Organized Students!!

  I cannot begin to describe the impact your monetary gift to my project.

  The Avery dot stickers are saving so much instructional time and helping my students to properly practice, but also reduce their frustration. First, we put the stickers on the pinkie keys, both my my saxophones and clarinets now have an easier time remembering where their pinkies need to be for specific notes and I can also remind them by simply saying "third-line B is your blue pinkie!" I also used the dot stickers to assist my flutes and clarinets with how to properly align their instrument pieces when putting them together. The stickers helped tremendously and, again, alleviated so much stress and saved a lot of instructional time; before the stickers, I would need to go around and check every beginner's instrument, otherwise the instrument would not play properly and would cause frustration.

  The impact of the pencil pouches has been a life-saver! Every Band student has a pencil pouch in their Band binder to help have a pencil for every class because... A GOOD MUSICIAN ALWAYS HAS A PENCIL!!

This Soprano Xylophone is going to be an amazing addition to our curriculum with adding the ability to play melodies and harmonies with the traditional songs of West African cultures.

I have so many students who cannot afford an instrument and items to keep them playing and being able to provide my students with the tools to keep them playing in this difficult time is essential to their success.

• Please Tune Your Instrument!

  THANK YOU so much for your generous donations to help purchasing new tuners a reality!

  As we are busy preparing for our next performance, my students are really excited to have the opportunity to use this technology to help them play more in tune with each other. The impact on the entire Band has been incredible.

  In particular, my trombone players have really enjoyed the help of the tuners with learning their slide positions. In the past, they had to "guesstimate" where to stop their slide, but now the tuners give them an accurate visual as they are learning.
