  • Charged Up for Learning

    Funded Mar 28, 2024

Thank you so much for your kind donations to my classroom. The pandemic has truly changed the way teachers teach and students engage in their learning. Most of our curriculum is accessible digitally.

We are a one-to-one district, where all of our student have a district provided device. Although we are a one-to-one district, the students are charged a fee for a charger if it is lost or misplaced. With your generous donations, my students have a secured spot in my classroom to charge their devices while accessing their curriculum to engage in their learning.

    Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Walsh

  • Learning With Snacks

    Funded Feb 23, 2024

Food security is a serious concern for most of the student in my building. A lot of the students that attend my school only eat twice a day (free breakfast and free lunch).

The students were extremely excited to see all of the generous donations. My students now know that they can focus on their academics instead of having aching, hungry stomachs.

It goes without saying but it is greatly appreciated that your donations allowed for full bellies of the students in my classroom. My students will go without hunger because of you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Walsh

My students work very hard to do their best every day. Sometimes their best means showing up to school with a smile on their face. Sometimes their best means coming to school even though they didn't sleep or eat the night before due to family/household trauma. This room will be used to meet their social and emotional needs throughout the day through sensory tools and activities. The students in my classroom need sensory breaks to allow for success in their academic and social life. I have seen how well sensory breaks work for my students. With the proper materials, my students can be much more engaged in their learning.
