My students are more than learners: they are thinkers, readers, creators, explorers, inventors, makers, writers, crafters, gamers, and much, much more...My students' interests are as diverse as their learning styles and many of my special education students greatly benefit from a combination of visual, tactile, and auditory materials that cover the curriculum as well as their social-emotional needs. Students come each day ready to explore information literacy, language and literature from many angles as well as build community, and it is my goal to provide them with a variety of materials and activities to appeal to all learners.
