  • I Spy With My Little Eye

    Funded Oct 21, 2021

Thank you so much for your donations! My class was so excited to get the delivery of so many wonderful, new books. We have already had few rainy days and the kids have enjoyed playing I Spy in the books. A great thing that I have noticed while the kids are looking at the books is the teamwork they use to find the pictures. It's great to see kids with Autism engaging each other and being excited to make connections with others.

Without amazing support from donors like you, my students would not have these materials that greatly improve their education. Thank you for your generous investment in my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Stadler

Thank you for helping me provide these silly and engaging books for my students. All of these books are very funny and my kids have really enjoyed all of them. Story time is one of my favorite parts of our school day. These books have captivated all of the kids! Your kindness has made a difference in the lives of my students, and I thank you!”

  • Back to School...FINALLY!

    Funded Sep 28, 2021

Thank you so much for supplying me with the materials I need to help my students stay safe in the classroom. The kids don't mind wearing masks when they get to pick a mask with a fun pattern. We eat breakfast lunch in the classroom, so we are using wipes very quickly this year. Your donation has helped keep us stocked up! The kids can't decide which snack is their favorite, fruit snacks or goldfish. I think their favorite is whatever they get that day. We are all doing our best to keep Covid out of the classroom and our fight could not have been done without your support. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

  • Help make Specials Special!

    Funded Oct 7, 2020

Thank you so much for providing my students with the supplies needed to make specials, such as art and music, more engaging in our virtual world. The kids are excited to have these fun materials. The kids love all of the art supplies and enjoy creating new beautiful pieces of artwork every Monday. They love making music with their own shakers and rhythm sticks with the music teacher on Tuesday's. Your donation has helped my little learners become more successful in our virtual environment. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

  • Virtually Visual

    Funded Oct 21, 2020

Thank you so much for supplying me with the document camera I need to help my students be successful in the virtual learning world. This has been a lifesaver for our virtual learning world! Story time is one of our favorite times of the day. I am able to show the book I am reading to the whole class while I read. The kids love it. I am also able to model writing for my students that are working on learning letter formation. Your donation has helped my little learners become more successful in our virtual environment. I'm so happy to be able to provide some normalcy to our new normal. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

  • Can You Hear Me Now?

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Thank you so much for supplying me with the headphones I need to help my students be successful in the virtual learning world. Many of my students are in homes where multiple children are engaged in virtual learning. Having working headphones with a microphone has helped my students focus and participate in learning activities. Your donation has helped my little learners become more successful in our virtual environment. I'm so happy to be able to provide some normalcy to our new normal. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

  • Learning Together Even When We're Apart

    Funded Sep 26, 2020

Thank you so much for supplying me with the materials I need to help my students be successful in the virtual learning world. It has been very helpful to have a dry erase board to model letter writing and sentence structure for my writing groups. The kids have enjoyed listening to the new stories during our daily story time. Everyday I pick 3 books to read and the kids get to vote for which book is their favorite. Story time is one of the kids favorite parts of our day in school and virtually. I'm so happy to be able to provide some normalcy to our new normal. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

  • I See Me! (Part 2)

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

Thank you so much for your donations to my project. It's wonderful to see how many people care about my students. It's incredible to see the joy on my kids faces when they realize there are characters in books that look like them. We have a student that is Muslim in our class. His mother reached out to tell us how much it meant to her when she noticed a woman wearing a hijab in one of the stories we read. These books are helping the kids connect fiction stories to their own lives. This is so important! Thank you all!”

  • Supplies for Successful Learners

    Funded Jul 20, 2020

Thank you so much for providing my students with the supplies they needed as we start our school year virtually. We are finishing our second week, of what I think, was a successful week of school! We had a material pick up a few days before the first day of school. The kids and parents were so excited to start off the year with the materials they needed. The dry erase boards have been very helpful for the kids to use during spelling and math activities. I used the folders and lamination to make phonics folders that are just like the ones we use in the classroom. Now each child has their own to use at home! Tomorrow they have their first virtual art class and I know they are going to get some use out of the scissors, crayons and glue!

Your kindness has made a difference in the lives of my students, and I thank you!”

  • Who Was? What Was? Where Is?

    Funded May 6, 2020

There are not words that can adequately express my gratitude for your generosity. Thank you for helping me provide new and engaging books for my students. All of the books we received from this project are nonfiction. They will teach the kids about important individuals, places and things in the world. I think some of the favorites will be Who is Stan Lee, What is LEGO and Where is Area 51. The books are so fun the kids won't realize they are learning!

I'm excited to get back into the classroom in fall to share these wonderful books with the class. Your kindness has made a difference in the lives of my students, and I thank you!”

    With gratitude,
