We can not wait to get these books in our classroom to help us learn the great craft of writing.

Thank you for pouring into my class through your generous donation. We are sure to become the next great American author and illustrators. Your donation will help us achieve our goals!”

  • Social and Emotional Little BIG Feelings

    Funded Aug 13, 2023

I am so excited to use these much needed materials in our classroom. The social/emotional development of young children is so important and I am so happy I am able to support this learning in my classroom this coming school year. We will definitely be celebrating when the delivery arrives at school!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kara Sloat

  • Essentially Kindergarten

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you for your helping to put hands on materials into our classroom. We are so fortunate to have donors that are willing to donate to making learning more meaningful and fun!

We absolutely love the dry erase boards whether we are practicing our letters, sounds or CVC words. They are an absolute hit, one would think it was fun and games instead of heavy duty learning going on in our group time. :)

Adding playdough to our fine motor center has added a sensory piece to the puzzle. They have no idea they are building their little muscles in their hands while rolling, pushing and creating figures with the playdough.

We can not thank you enough for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kara Sloat

  • Running Into Kindergarten

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thanks to generous donors my students are able to have fun, engaging and hands on materials to work with in our daily center rotation. We were so excited to see all the boxes arrive at our school. The sheer joy the students had as we unboxed each of the material was contagious! I couldn't wait to get the materials on our shelves to put to use. The students love their new colorful number line on the floor so they know exactly where to line up for walking in the hall. The marble run was a big hit in our STEM center. We are thrilled to have so many friends helping to fund our classroom and keep our learning fun!”

  • Jump Into Centers

    Funded Nov 5, 2022

Thank you for funding our class project! We are using our materials to help us count, create cvc words, and sort. We use a variety of materials every day in our centers and you have added valuable resources to our classroom.

When we received notification that our materials were delivered to the office we ran to collect our boxes. Bringing them into the classroom was exciting enough, but unloaded the materials brought sheer joy to our faces.

I know that theses materials will be used and cherished for many years to come in my classroom.”

  • It All Starts With STEM

    Funded Aug 13, 2021

Imagine the excitement my class felt to come into a classroom full of boxes. They were so excited to see the materials unpacked. As I held each item I explained how we would use it in our daily center activities. The excitement in their eyes rivaled that of Christmas.

We love to use the letter builders on our light table, turn off the classroom lights and see the glow of the letters. The class loves to become florists with the stem flower kit, the flower combinations they come up with are amazing!

I have seen tremendous growth in their fine motor skills as well as their critical thinking skills this year. I can't wait to use these items for many years to come.”

    Mrs. Kara Sloat

  • Color Our World at Home

    Funded Jul 28, 2020

We are loving the crayons, the color stones, coloring books and the books. I was so excited to give these items to the students, but they were even more excited to get these items. We love that we have a special book that will remind us of our time we spent together. I love watching the students grow in their reading in the classroom. We begin with looking at the pictures on each page and then move into reading the pictures or the words. Your generous donation has helped the students build their love of reading and coloring!”

  • Printing Our Way to Learning

    Funded May 21, 2020

Thank you for the generous donations to our classroom. We were able to print and laminate many items for the class. We now have a daily schedule that is posted and easy for the little ones to read. We printed and laminated our center chart so the students know what center to go to for the day. We printed shapes and letters to help us learn through out the school year.

The students love how the color printing has brought so much life and color to the classroom. We love how the laminate helps to keep our printed items lasting for many years to come.

Thank you for all the color you brought to our room! We are truly enjoying everything!!!”

  • Color Our World

    Funded Feb 5, 2020

I can not explain how excited the kids were when the boxes started to arrive. The sheer delight on their faces when I started to unpack the first box is indescribable. They marveled at the many palettes of paint, the air dry play dough, the glitter foam and the crayons. We took the paint out first and painted many, many pictures for our family members. The crayons were the next item the kids wanted to use. They were so excited use the peach color for skin color when they drew people. We are soon to use the air dry playdough to make an amazing sculptures. Thank you so much for your generosity!”

We have been having so much fun with our reading nook (tee pee) has taken on many uses. We love to use it as a tent for our camping unit. The language and campfire discussions are wonderful to listen to.

The center activities have been keeping us busy. We have fun putting the elephants together in alphabetical order, sorting the family counters and matching the number whales.
