My vision is for students to have a book in their hands every day.I want to inspire the next generation of lifelong readers. By adding a listening station, students would be able to experience books in several different formats. The students look forward to turning the pages when the bell dings and following along in the story. Our current listening station is unreliable and often disappointing.
Many of my students have not met "Madeline" or Harold and that pesky purple crayon or even know where the Wild things really are. With this listening station my students can get lost in the world of a book, even when there are no adults around to read to them.
