We are in desperate need of ways to assist students through use of technology at my school. I currently have four outdated desktop computers that frequently do not work. Another challenge is that many of my students have limited to no computer access at home. My goal is to close these gaps by using individualized programs for ELL support, language arts and math on a daily basis here at school. Moby Max and Adapted Mind are two programs that I plan to use with students this school year. Kindles would be a great way to access these programs and can easily be moved around the classroom, based on student need. In addition to meeting individual academic goals, these would also support our technology component for learning as well.
