Having the cube storage shelves in my little classroom will allow my students to store their school supplies, snacks and things in a safe and secure location. The lanyards will allow students to keep their student id cards in a safe spot. The fidget toys are going to be used when students have hit a wall with their attention span during the long Wisconsin winters. It will also be a valuable lesson in organization and material management. Students will be tasked to take inventory of the supplies and snacks, as well as making a budget for the replenishment of these items. Storage and organization lessons are important for all middle school students who are leaving those important executive functioning skills that are needed later on in life.
