  • Magical Math!

    Funded Sep 3, 2010

Thank you so much for your generous donation! This was my first year participating in your Limeade campaign and I loved it! The kids were so excited to get new Math materials to use in our classroom. We have enjoyed the new manipulatives and center activities. We use the whiteboard daily for lessons and centers. They love the frog and turtle counters. Who would have thought little frogs and turtles would make ten frames, one to one correspondence, counting, and learning numbers so much fun?!?! They also love being able to practice their patterning, adding, subtracting, and number skills.

The resources that you provided have made learning new Math concepts fun and enjoyable. It has also helped to reinforce old Math concepts. Thank you again for sponsoring this wonderful campaign. We love Sonic! ”

Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. My students were extremely excited to get new materials to use during our reading center time. They have enjoyed using all of the new materials.

My students especially enjoy using the word building activities. They love being able to read a word and build a word by sounding it out. It gives them a great sense of accomplishment. They also love using the word family and beginning sound activity centers.

Thank you again for your donation. You have made a difference in these kindergarten students lives. ”

  • Learning Is Fun!

    Funded Jul 6, 2010

Thank you very much for your kind donation. This was a wonderful surprise to both me and the children. We received so many new learning materials. The new materials are being put to very good use in the classroom. The children love reading and math time because we have new center materials. The new materials are a wonderful way to help reinforce new concepts that we are learning and review concepts that we have learned in the past. They also love listening to our new Mrs. McNosh story and her crazy adventure.

Thank you again for your donation. We absolutely love our new learning resources. We really appreciate your kindness and generosity. ”

    With gratitude,

  • Radical Reading!

    Funded May 6, 2010

Thank you for donating these wonderful materials to my classroom. The children were excited to get the boxes in the mail and unpack them.

The children love the rhyming sorting houses. They really enjoy sorting the pictures into the correct rhyming houses and checking their answers. They beg to work on the rhyming houses. I love to hear them ask to practice their rhyming. They also enjoy working with the other materials and writing on the newsprint paper.

Thank you very much for your generous donation. My students have benefited from the new learning materials. You helped make learning fun! ”

Thank you so much for the generous donation. The children were so excited to get in our new learning materials. The new materials have been a wonderful asset to our classroom and our center time.

The children love the newsprint paper. They have a blast writing on it during our writing time. They also love playing the sight word memory match games and working with the blends and digraph word work center.

It is wonderful to know that there are people who support education. These children have experienced a gift of generosity and that gift has helped improve their reading skills. Thank you for making learning fun with our new materials and giving these children such a special gift. ”

  • All-Around Awesome Kindergartners

    Funded Jul 14, 2010

Thank you so much for your generous donation. The kids were very excited to receive the package in the mail and they could not wait to open it up to see the new items. They have really enjoyed using our new materials. They absolutely love the individual whiteboards and the storage rack. We use these every week as a writing center. They will even ask me to go to the writing center, instead of a play center, during their fun time. They also enjoy using the magnetic numbers during math time. We are having fun with the multi-cultural food assortment in our home living center. The kids like to play restaurant and serve each other sushi and other new foods.

Thank you again for providing these new materials for my students. They have enjoyed using them and will continue to enjoy them the rest of the year. I greatly appreciate your commitment to education and willingness to give to children in need. You have made my student's educational experiences meaningful and memorable. ”

    With gratitude,

  • Math Matters!

    Funded Apr 15, 2010

I want to thank everyone who helped fund this project. I am extremely grateful for your kind donation. The kids were so excited when we got the big box in the mail full of new Math supplies. They were squealing with excitement as we unpacked the box together. We could not wait to put up the new calendar activity center and use all of the other manipulatives.

The kids have really enjoyed being able to use all of our new supplies. They love doing the calendar activities in the morning and constantly beg me to change the estimation jar or pick another "problem of the day". It is wonderful to see them getting excited over math topics and concepts. I'm glad that they get to enjoy fun learning experiences.

Thank you once again for your generous donation. It is great to see other people who value education as much as the teachers value it. Your donation has made a difference in the lives of these 19 children and of countless others who will enter my classroom in the years to come. You are all a blessing! ”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. White

  • Magnets and Life Cycles and Science... OH MY!

    Funded Sep 18, 2009

Words cannot express how grateful I am for your kind donation. The children were so excited to see our new Science materials and manipulatives come in the mail. They could not wait to learn about life cycles, weather, seasons, magnets, sink or float, and the five senses. They immediately begged me to teach them something new, which of course I did. They have been having a great time using the manipulatives and the learning centers. It's amazing how much they love Science and learning about new concepts.

The wonderful items that you provided for my classroom have enriched the learning of my nineteen fabulous students. The teachers next to me love coming over to borrow the learning centers to use with their classes as well. So you have helped enrich the learning of other Kindergarten classes.

Without the generous donations from donors like yourself, my students would not have the necessary tools to bring Science to life and make learning more exciting. My students and I are extremely grateful for your kindness and generosity. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You are truly a blessing to us! ”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. White

  • Kindergarten Phonics Come To Life

    Funded Jun 5, 2008

Thank you so much for your kind donation! I was extremely excited to receive an email stating that my resource request was filled. It takes a very special person to donate money for supplies that the children so desperately need. I am so blessed to have someone open their hearts to help my children. These resources will be used constantly in our Kindergarten classroom. They will help my children build a solid foundation for success in the future. You are helping give them the gift of being able to read; something that will stay with them forever. I am looking forward to receiving the resources and having my children work with them. I know they will be very excited to have new things with which to learn. Again, thank you very much for your kindness and generosity! I am truly grateful”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. White

I am currently an Interventionist and STEAM Lab teacher for students in Kindergarten through fifth grade. I teach some amazing students. They are very sweet and have a strong desire to learn. I come from a low socio-economic school, where 88% are on free or reduced lunch. It is very important for students to have hands-on materials to enrich their learning experience. Their attention spans are not meant to sit on a rug and listen to a lecture. The best way for students to learn is to have interaction with their subject and get involved. The children get so excited and are ready to learn when they have opportunities for hands-on activities. Please take a moment to look at our classroom projects. By donating you will change the lives of these students and countless others in the future.
