Students will be asked to write different music notes on their boards. When they have it, they raise it in the air. They enjoy the immediate feedback. They also love making it into a game! When we work with rhythms, each student creates a measure, and we put the boards around the room, clapping out our class rhythms. The wipe-off boards will provide each student with the starting point they need before taking their elementary music composition experience to the computer. Through the various activities and games that will be done with these wipe-off boards, students will develop a greater understanding of the musical alphabet and rhythms!
