Storytime! Listening Center
Funded Feb 3, 2012We are so thankful for our new listening station and classroom speakers. Our class has been enjoying the usage of the new speakers in many ways . We have had the pleasure of listening to our math lesson and video lesson opening with new sound over the loud speakers. When its time for whole group story time we can now hear our CD as we follow along with our books. When the music teacher gave us a piece of music to learn, we got to practice with it in class. The sound was vibrant and loud. Recently, we won a trip to Disney Music Hall and when they sent over the power point called, The Planets, we got to listen to the lecture and songs. Boy! we were so excited with the new music composed by Gustar Holts.
We are grateful to our donors for the generosity that has allowed us to have a listening station. We now have one computer station for the two grades in our class. The second and third graders now have their own speaker and headphone set. The second and third graders now enjoy listening to their own reading, vocabulary and spelling lessons and games. We appreciate the speakers and headphones because it has enriched our time when we work in small group rotations. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Koenig
