  • Crafting and Storing

    Funded Oct 24, 2019

Thank you so much for helping this project come to life. For this project my students had to put their name of a piece of paper that then circled the room, each student had to think of a positive word that described each other. When students got their papers back they had a bunch of positive words for them. They were able to then take a ceramic tile and using sharpie markers they wrote one or more of their positive words and decorated their tile with it.

This project helps my students with self-confidence and seeing themselves in a positive way. Thank you for helping the future.”

  • Social-Emotional in the Classroom

    Funded Oct 14, 2019

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and the social and emotional well being of my students. We received the materials and absolutely love them. My students get to start and end their day with yoga poses. They get a positive card and quote to follow, or think about, daily. They have been busy working together to play games and take a break, helping them learn to be competitive in a positive way and learn good sportsmanship. When my student are stressed or need a break these are great things for them to do.

Thank you so much for helping me supply these materials for my students.”

  • Magnetic Fun

    Funded Jul 11, 2019

Thank you so much for helping supply our Maker's Lab with hands-on activities that help increase students knowledge and curiosity of science. My students are really enjoying playing with the magnets and making science connections while exploring what will and will not attract with magnets. They are also learning what they build with things that will allow magnets to continue working.

Students learn best by being engaged, curious and by creating. Your donation has allowed my students to have all three of these.”

  • Spring Cleaning

    Funded May 20, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our Spring Cleaning project. Seeing over 100 students in a day means lots of germs in a contained classroom. We do our best to make sure that our classroom stays cleaned and germ-free. This is easy at night to clean our class but a challenge during the day. We use wipes to wipe things we use down to keep germs at bay. Since we are very hands-on classroom which means that our room and carpet get messy sometimes during the day. The vacuum cleaner allows us to vacuum or carpet any time we need to.

We love the items and are thrilled to have them in our classroom. Thank you for your generous donation.”

  • Oculus Go VR

    Funded May 7, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students are now able to visually see the concepts that we are talking about in class. They are able to explore topics hands on that would otherwise only be able to be read about in a textbook. Students are able to explore space as if they were the astronaut that was there. Instead of just seeing pictures my students are not able to feel like they are physically at the site of the topic without actually leaving the classroom. This is an amazing way to help students understand and remember the concepts being taught.”

  • Making Blankets to be Donated

    Funded Mar 30, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation to a project that helps teach our 6th graders skill that will last a lifetime. Our students were thrilled to be able to make blankets that will be donated to the area Children's Hospital. Without your donation, this project would not have been able to happen.

This skills that our students learned included; working together, empathy and sympathy, being part of a community and to be thankful for what they have. These skills are not able to be taught using a textbook they are taught by doing. That is exactly what your donation was able to teach. Thank you so much for making this possible.”

  • Bath Bombs for Chemical Change

    Funded Mar 1, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our project. We are new to the Maker's Lab and are enjoying getting new materials and project to work on. We love making bath bombs and knowing we can mold our bath bombs into different shapes. We now have the materials to mix and make things and create.

It is your generosity that allows us to create hands-on project that help enhance our learning and understanding on the topics we are studying in class. Thank you so much for your continued support of our classroom projects.”

  • Makerspace Supplies

    Funded Feb 28, 2019

Thank you so much for helping supply our new Maker's Lab in our classroom. This is such a neat experience for my students to use in the classroom to help enrich our lessons. My students enjoy being challenged and creating new projects on their own. They are using classroom topics and applying them to the projects set up in our Maker's Lab. We are truly grateful for your generosity in helping keep our Maker's Lab supplied with materials for them to create and challenge themselves with. Thank you so very much for supporting us.”

  • Staying Organized

    Funded Feb 14, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation and helping us get the supplies to keep our classroom organized. My students love that they now have access to materials and that they know where to find everything. With us just starting a Makers Lab it is great to have a place, that students can access, to get the materials they need for their projects. We love the stylish design and that our classroom feels homier and more comfortable to learn.

Thank you for your kind heart and continued support of our future.”

  • Odds and Ends in the Science Room

    Funded Feb 14, 2019

Thank you so much for helping our classroom out with some odds and ends that make the day go smoothly. Your generous donation was greatly appreciated by myself and my students. We love having a fan to help circulate that air. We use our laminator all the time to help keep posters and pages nice in our classroom. We are having a lot of fun decorating our walls with the vinyl that you helped out classroom get. We use the vinyl in our cricut and our room looks amazing. The light covers help shield us from the fluorescent lights. Thank you so much for your donation.”

My classroom is a fun and safe environment that helps students feel welcome and a place for them to relax and focus on their education. I feel that when a student in in an environment that they are comfortable in they are able to focus and learn better. I like to offer my students the best that I can and find new and exciting ways to teach to all of my students, from students that have special needs to students that are more advanced. I want my students leaving my classroom with a sense of pride and accomplishment. I want them entering my classroom excited to learn and ready to be challenged. I also want my students to feel wanted and valued in my classroom. I see about 100 students a day and I want to give them the world no matter what their background.
