I teach a group of energetic, creative and diverse 2nd graders in an at-risk school. Most of these students come from low income, poverty and some homeless families. Attendance and tardiness is often an issue. Technology is one of the many ways to engage students in all subjects. It is also vital for students to prepare for upper grade and college. I believe that exposing students to the world of technology is essential to ensure their success and ready to complete in their future careers.
