I have 19 students. 60% are at the poverty level and 25% are special needs students. They are completely full of love though and want to learn. They see no difference between them all. They are 3 -5 year olds who want to feel special and be acknowledged as the same. They love to be read too and want to succeed. They just need to be given the tools to do it.
