These are self-motivated students that are eager to learn and apply their skills on a daily basis. They often encounter financial challenges that do not stop them from wanting to learn and be challenged outside the classroom. They attend a school that is low income but excited about learning. Students face challenges at home but always look at the positives of life and look and plan at the future ahead when it comes to education. There are 70 of them.
These students exceed in math and reading standards. They are always looking for things and projects to work outside the classroom. They come to me (and other teachers) for help and for projects they would want to investigate. Regardless of the challenges, they are excited and eager about their education.
