  • Ready to Remotely Go with a MacBook Pro!

    Funded Nov 18, 2020

Thank you so much for donating to my project, I truly appreciate it. Most of my students come from low income homes and do not have access to their own personal technology to work from. This computer will not only help me teach my students while they are at home but it will also allow them to work remotely with their service providers when they come to school for in person learning. My students are supposed to come to school with their technology so they could receive their service during this unprecedented time. Unfortunately, many of them are working from their parents cell phones or sharing their technology with their siblings so they are unable to come to school with their own personal device. So, they are so excited to have a new labtop to work from and receive their services from when they come to school. Thank you again for giving them access to remote learning, we are so appreciative and it will definitely be put to GREAT use!”

  • Visual Learners Dream of a Document Camera

    Funded Dec 12, 2014

I cannot begin to express how thankful and grateful I am for your generous support. Thank you for sharing my vision that my students with special needs would benefit from having a document camera in our classroom. The document camera has enhanced our classroom greatly. My students love when I model work by using the camera. It has enhanced their learning experience in all academic areas. They also love coming up to the Smart Board and showing their work to their classmates for everyone to see. Thank you so much. I am so grateful for all of the support my classroom has received from donors like you. Thank you for choosing to support us.”

  • For Our Ears Only - Literacy Through Listening

    Funded Dec 12, 2014

My students and I are so thankful and appreciate your generous donation to our school. They were so excited to receive the package and shocked when I told them how we got our new listening center. The listening center has been a great learning tool for my special education students and English language learners. They love being able to listen to our weekly story on CD. This resource has helped build fluency and comprehension skills for all my students and I am truly thankful for your generous donation and will continue to use this amazing resource for many years to come.”

  • Teaching Easel Needed for Group Instruction

    Funded Dec 18, 2013

Thank you so so much for your generous donation. My class and I are so thankful and appreciative for your thoughtfulness. We are so happy to finally have a teaching easel in our classroom. When the package arrived my students were so excited to open it and even more surprised when i explained how we received it. It meant so much to them to hear that there are people in this world who care about their academic success and want them to do well in school.

We use the easel everyday in school and it has made learning fun and engaging. This easel has made instructional time so much more accessible to my students. My students love writing on it and presenting their work to myself and their peers when they are using it. It is also magnetic which is a HUGE bonus because my students love using the magnetic letters on it and making words.

Thank you so much for enhancing my students learning and providing me with the necessary tool to keep them engaged and involved in learning. I look forward to using this easel for many years to come and will be forever grateful for your generous donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lombardo

My 12 second and third grade students attend a 12:1:1 special education program in a Title 1 funded school. The disabilities affecting my students include learning disabled, autism, and intellectual disabilities. My students love learning and being a part of group instruction. Many of them are visual learners and they need to see what I will instruct.
