Teacher Pay Teacher as the Right Stuff!
Funded Oct 12, 2023I would like to express my utmost gratitude for the generous funding for my gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers. This has been instrumental in enhancing the learning experience for my special needs students. The technology and resources we have been able to obtain have allowed for more personalized and engaging learning experiences. With the help of the gift cards, I was able to download an entire ELA unit for kindergarten, benefiting not just my students, but the entire school site. These materials have been modified to help save time on curriculum modifications, allowing us to focus on individual student needs.
The most exciting aspect of the new products for my students is the interactive and engaging nature of the resources we have been able to access through Teachers Pay Teachers. The materials have not only boosted their enthusiasm for learning but have also made the learning process more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. They have especially enjoyed the modified holiday stories that cater to their social and adaptive living needs, which has allowed for a more inclusive and supportive learning environment within the classroom. I love that i will be able to use them for years to come.
Particular students who have especially warmed to this new technology are those with diverse needs. The modified stories and resources have allowed them to fully engage with the content and have helped bridge many learning gaps. Seeing these students connect and interact with the material in such a positive way has been truly heartwarming. As we still have additional funds left, we are looking forward to downloading more modified stories to continue supporting our students with upcoming holidays, reading skills, as well as social and adaptive living needs.
Once again, I extend my deepest gratitude. Your generosity has made a significant difference in our classroom and the entire school site, and we look forward to continued growth and development with the resources that we have obtained.”

Funded Sep 26, 2023First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the generous funding that allowed us to acquire a new printer for our classroom. This technology has significantly enhanced the learning experience for my students, as it allows them to easily print out their assignments, projects, and other materials. This has not only increased their efficiency in completing tasks, but it has also given them the opportunity to present their work in a more polished manner. Additionally, the printer has facilitated hands-on learning activities, such as creating visual aids and crafts which has greatly enriched their understanding of the subjects we cover. Most recently we completed our holiday displays and printing templates was a key component.
The accessibility to this technology has sparked a newfound sense of pride and motivation in their academic work, as they now have the tools to showcase their hard work in a visually impactful way.
I have noticed that several students, particularly those who struggle with traditional forms of expression, have especially warmed to this new technology. They have found a sense of empowerment in being able to visually communicate their ideas and present their work in their own unique style. This has not only improved their confidence but has also significantly increased their engagement and motivation in the classroom. The printer has provided them with a platform to express themselves in a manner that resonates with their individual strengths and interests. We are truly grateful for this amazing opportunity, and I am confident that the benefits of this technology will continue to positively impact my students' learning experiences.”

Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you for your donations to the class writing process folders. These folders have allowed us to maintain organization, focus, and extra help. The students are always excited to see where each other is in the process and surprising have kept each other on track while using the folders! What a happy outcome. Without your donation we wouldn't be able to make this level of organization. We hope that the folders will be a positive visual aid for their future. Here's to many more project to help our future.”

Funded Feb 7, 2022Thank you for your donations and support throughout this school year. Our basic needs were met because of generous donors like you. We were able to use all supplies throughout this school year and are greatly appreciative. The ink and paper allowed us to give the students the visuals they needed to be successful the entire year. This is an asset to their needs and future understanding of concepts. Sticky notes allowed for short responses and better organization while writing. We have seen an improvement in their writing abilities and confidence through something as simple as post-its.
Thank you again for your continual support for my students and all others.”

Learning to Learn Again!
Funded Dec 25, 2021Thank you again for funding our Learning to Learn Again project. This simple project has allowed my students to become more organized, build management skills, and practice with visual aids. Without donors like you this wouldn't be easily accessible for us.
Students use our digital timer daily! The numbers are large, the sound is loud, and it simply fits our needs. A good timer allows us all to stay on task with our timing and move along when needed. Students try to "beat the clock" now! great time management and goal setting for all!
Our charts haven't been used just yet but we hope to get back to them in small groups after state and local assessments. Thank you again for the support and dedication to my students future.”

STEAM and Literacy Here We Come!
Funded Jan 23, 2022These projects have been so fun and engaging for our students! Our packages arrived just in time to begin unit 4's plant structures, and wow! Watching our roots growing, making our own vegetables has been so fun. We were shocked when our radishes began growing in just 1 day! It really helped us understanding how roots grow and plants function.
We are still waiting our our Times for Kids subscription but we know we will be able to use the informational text across all classes and really help keep us interested. We also hope to make this part of our reading weekly logs, so the students can have discussions with real facts about more current events. Can't wait until the end of February for those.
My special education students are really loving the visuals this time around. They're able to take what they see and try to make greater connections to our units. Thank you again to our partners at GE for donating and sponsoring this project.!”

We Can Hear You Now!
Funded Jul 7, 2021Your donations for our classroom head phones has made using technology in the classroom so much more efficient and calming. Students have been able to complete our local assessments such as I-Ready, Amira, and mini lessons through Google Classroom. The headphones have also allowed us to have students work in "stations," or groups without disrupting smaller groups with the sound of their online work. The microphones work so well that all of their reading test were recorded and sounded GREAT! I really appreciated the quality of them. Going forward we will continue to use them in class and create continued routines for their use. I am sure our families were happy to as this was one less supply they needed to provide for students at this unsure time.
Thank you again for your contributions and dedication to our students needs.”

Funded Mar 16, 2021Once again thank you to all the wonderful Donors to my project "Brain Quest Books for the GAP?" With this book I have been able to provide my students with additional practice and work that we will not be going over again but the students haven't mastered. This is being done on their own time at home (and now during their lunches). This was the ultimate book for spiral review and ease of use.
Students complete assignments on a daily basis and are always excited to show us their hard work. As a teacher I have been able to see them improve their academic abilities by spiraling the concepts, specifically in Math and Reading skills. Their basic computation skills and grammar have improved massively. Often, students remind me of the activities they did in the Brain Quest book while making connections to current topics.
Parents have even reached out thanking us for providing the students with additional practice of older skills without feeling the pressure of test scores or passing grades. Thank you again for this opportunity to provide the students with better tools to meet all of their needs during this difficult school year.”

Funded Dec 31, 2020I can not thank you enough for your trust in me and my student to invest in our safety. Two months ago we received our sneeze guards and they have been used every day since. It is clear how we use a sneeze guard but it wasn't so loved at first. Students were extremely hesitant of these large barriers in front of them. At first we had many complaints about them being too big, too blurry, and in the way. But as time went on students realized the reason for them and have begun to ask for their shields daily.
Before long, I noticed students taking them as their very own. When students come in they clean their shields, they even have their own favorite ones (I don't know how they know which is which haha), they secure them at the end of the day and are careful not to break them. One morning a student merely forgot to put theirs up and the other students were quick to remind each other of the safety for everyone and to have it up.
The students now feel safer to sit closer to one another during recess and lunch to play games together such as Yahtzee, cards, and bingo. The shields allow them to see in between the glass and be closer. This has improved their socialization and overall happiness to come back to school. Again, we can not thank you enough for your trust and investment in us. We are forever grateful for you all keeping us safe.
By the way.... NOT ONE COVID CASE IN OUR CLASS SINCE THE SHIELDS WENT UP!”
