  • Folding Shelf for Building Materials

    Funded Feb 12, 2025

On behalf of our prekindergarten class, I want to sincerely thank you for your generous donation of the Kaplan folding shelf. Your thoughtful gift has made a big difference in our classroom and in the daily experiences of our young learners.

This shelf has become the perfect home for our building materials, including wooden blocks, bristle blocks, and castle blocks. What was once a cluttered and hard-to-access area is now a well-organized, inviting space that encourages creativity, collaboration, and independent exploration. The children can now easily find what they need, clean up after themselves, and truly take ownership of their learning environment.

Thanks to you, block play has become even more engaging. Every day, we see students building castles, bridges, and whole imaginary worlds—working together, problem-solving, and using their imaginations in incredible ways. The flexibility of the folding shelf also allows us to adapt the space to meet the changing needs of our classroom.

Most importantly, your gift shows our students that they are valued and supported. It's amazing how something as simple as a shelf can inspire pride, responsibility, and joy.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Davis

  • Puzzle and Play Doh Shelf

    Funded Mar 27, 2025

On behalf of our entire prekindergarten team and the little learners in our classroom, we want to extend our most heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of the Kaplan puzzle and Play-Doh shelf. Your thoughtful gift has already made a significant impact in our learning environment, and we are incredibly grateful for your support and kindness.

As early childhood educators, we know how essential a well-organized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom is for our students' success. Thanks to you, our puzzle and Play-Doh materials are no longer stored in cluttered bins or stacked on top of each other where they're hard to reach. Instead, they now have a beautiful, accessible, and invitingspace that encourages independence, responsibility, and curiosity.

The new shelf has transformed our classroom space in such a positive way. It has brought a sense of order and calm that allows the children to focus more deeply on their activities. Our puzzle center now feels like a true area of exploration where students are naturally drawn to problem-solving and critical thinking. The shelves make it easy for them to see all their options, choose an activity, and clean up when they're finished—fostering not only academic skills but also important social-emotional growth like self-regulation and pride in their environment.”

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

We are incredibly grateful for your generous support in providing winter coats, mittens, and wet wipes for our prekindergarten classroom. My students are from many different cultures, and they speak numerous languages. We often get new students from foreign countries in the middle of the year. A large number of the students come from homes that qualify for free or reduced lunches. Despite the large number of students identified as low-income, our students are great achievers! Our school was identified nationally as a Distinguished Title One school. Our success is due to the dedicated teaching staff, parental involvement and our caring school culture.
