Printing Supplies
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you so much for contributing to my project for printing supplies. It has been very helpful to have the ink cartridges here and ready to go instead of having to wait on submitting a school purchase order! If you've ever worked in the school system, you know what I mean! While this project was simple and very straight forward, your generosity was meaningful and impactful. I've been able to print all the special education documentation as well as the fun, engaging activities for my students to use in therapy sessions!”

Funded Jun 6, 2022Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the support on this project a while ago because it has been a game changer to have these supplies in the special education pre-school classroom. My young friends all have communication needs and learn best through play, so this project allows them to grow and learn the best way for their age! Their early communication, speech and language skills are growing thanks to you! The classroom teachers, aides and other therapists working with these students are also benefitting from your donations, so again thank you!”

Early Language Learning
Funded Jan 20, 2022Thank you for donating to my project "Early Language Learning." My students have been enjoying the new activities, especially the WH-question bingo game. Many of my students have been strengthening their skills of asking and answering questions. They have also been working on the skills to increase their awareness and ability to remain on topic during conversations. The other materials in the project have assisted my younger students in manipulating different items by colors, shapes, categories, functions, etc. My students continue to grow in their skills during their speech and language sessions. Thank you for contributing to this project and the growth of my student's communication abilities.”

Say What? Help Elicit Speech Sounds
Funded Jan 8, 2022My students have benefitted from this project so much already. They are able to visualize their speech sounds with the new mouth model and I have new ideas for eliciting those tricky sounds. I have also been able to use the mouth model to help parents understand the complexity of speech sound production by demonstrating how their child currently makes a sound vs how their child will learn to make the sound. Parents have benefitted from the visual just like the kids and feel more aware and confident when trying to carry over the sound practice at home. Thank you for helping my students and families succeed with this project!”

Funded Oct 26, 2021Thank you so much for contributing to my Donors Choose Project "Speechie Fun." I greatly appreciate it for my own organization and the benefit it has provided to my students. So far, I have purchased new screeners for articulation and fluency as well fun winter themed activities with the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. I can't wait to use the new winter activities with my students. They especially love "craftivities" because they are able to work directly with me on their targets 1:1, then cut/color/glue their activity while the partner switches off to complete the work with me. We have a lot of fun with the craftivities because everyone stays engaged throughout the sessions!
I can't wait to see what this New Year brings for my students and their progress in speech therapy. Thank you for helping them reach their goals.”

Visual Aides in Learning!
Funded Aug 12, 2021Thank you for supporting my students through the project "Visual Aides in Learning." My speech friends have already started to enjoy some of the project. I used the funds to purchase a long-time "wish list" item on TpT. I have really enjoyed putting it together for my students to use when working on their speech sound production goals. The storage box is perfect for them to go over, easily select their target sound and begin practicing with my help! I was able to print these awesome cards in color and laminate them all for long-time use. Additionally, this project allowed some of my younger students (who are still learning to read), the opportunity to participate more independently in sessions by being able to rely on the visuals to assist their descriptions and producing longer, language-rich sentences. Thank you, again! My students and I greatly appreciate your donations!”
