This project will help my 6th graders read higher level books that will allow for a broader range of thinking beyond our culture. It helps teach responsibility, the importance of loyalty and family, and how to be true to yourself. These are life lessons that I hope my students will remember for a lifetime. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. I am also hoping that for those few students who still do not enjoy reading, they will find a new appreciation for literature.

About my class
