  • Literacy Professional Development

    Funded Jul 31, 2024

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your generous donation to the project aimed at purchasing professional development books. Thanks to your support, I have been able to access invaluable resources that have significantly impacted my work with teachers and students.

The books have broadened my understanding of how the English language works, and this has been essential in helping me support teachers as they guide their students in decoding words. As a primary teacher, I had limited experience with supporting older students, but the texts have provided me with strategies to help upper-grade students decode multisyllabic words more effectively.

Your contribution has made a lasting difference in our efforts to improve literacy skills, and I am truly grateful for your support.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hawkins

  • TPT Resources For My 1st grade Class

    Funded Nov 27, 2022

Thank you for your generous donation to my project. Your contribution has helped me to provide more resources for my students to use in the classroom. Often times students need many opportunities to engage with the curriculum in order to master a skill or concept. We have limited resources in our schools and classrooms, but your generosity has helped to provide more.

Technology supports my students learning in so many ways. Technology helps to keep my students engaged because it keeps them excited about learning. Presenting grade level material in different ways keeps the learning fun and fresh, and students are looking forward to what is new and different from other days. This is especially important for the students in my classroom who struggle and need differentiated instruction. The resources I purchased from TPT help me to provide a variety of resources that support my students and their individual learning needs.”

  • Creative Kindergarteners

    Funded Aug 7, 2022

Thank you for your donation to our classroom. Your kindness and generosity helped to fund a project that is focused on allowing children to be creative and use their imagination to create. Students love when they are given opportunities to create, design, and build in the classroom and express their creativity. Your donation has helped to purchase materials that can be used to help students to express themselves at school. It is important that students have creative outlets, and I am committed to providing opportunities for them.”

  • Phonemic Awareness Fun

    Funded Jul 7, 2022

Thank you for showing kindness to me and my students. We greatly appreciate your donation to our project. Phonemic awareness is an integral part of reading success.

Helping students to remain engaged during learning is a constant challenge, so using materials such as the magnetic boards, magnets, and magnetic wands help to make learning fun.

We use these materials to segment and count the sounds we hear in words. The students are always excited to use the magnets and "magically" zap them away with the magnetic wands.

Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom.”

  • Rekenreks Make Counting Fun!

    Funded May 10, 2022

My students and I are enjoying our rekenreks! We are using them to explore addition concepts and learn more about numbers.

The students were amazed by my giant magnetic rekenrek! I am able to use it on our magnetic whiteboard in the front of the room to model what I expect the students to do with their rekenreks.

The students were super excited when they were given their own rekenrek to use. In the past we have had to make rekenreks with pipe cleaners and beads, or use a virtual tool, so it is so wonderful for students to have their own to use.

We will continue to use our rekenreks to review and explore number concepts throughout the school year. Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom. Your donation has helped to grow and develop the minds of mathematicians! Thank you!”

  • Write Away!

    Funded Jan 30, 2012

Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom! My students and I love our new easel. It serves so many purposes in our classroom and has truly come in handy! Writing time has come alive because every student wants to contribute so that they can have an opportunity to use the easel. It provides storage space for our writing materials. We are also able to use the easel across the curriculum, as it is magnetic and can be used for math activities as well. My students and I cannot express enough how truly grateful we are for your donation! Thank you!”

  • Kindergarteners on the Move

    Funded Jan 27, 2012

Thank you for your generous donation to my Kindergarten students. The students are truly enjoying their new scooters. They can't wait to go outside and play at recess time. The safety signs allow my students to practice following rules, sharing and taking turns. Your donation has helped my students to not only have fun playing, but has also given them an opportunity to exercise, which is extremely important with childhood diabetes on the rise. My students and I cannot express enough to you how much we appreciate your donation. Thank you! ”
