Love and Care with the Essentials
Funded Dec 28, 2019Our school has been so blessed to be able to use the materials that were purchased because of your generosity. Our students are able to have the supplies that they need to provide themselves with good hygiene while at home and at school. This project has been such a special one for me to see come to life. You truly are a difference-maker by providing such valuable necessities to our students. Our students have been so excited to receive the items that your donation supplied. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and from ALL of the students and families at our school.”

Learning While Playing in K!
Funded May 11, 2019I wish you could have been in my classroom to hear the excited voices of my students when we got out the new materials. They were playing and laughing and having so much fun. I was so excited to see them working on sharing, communicating, advertising (they were trying to sell pizza and ice cream to everyone that walked in the door), and using their manners. We are so thankful for the awesome new materials and appreciate your support of our classroom. From all of us, thank you so very much for your generosity!!”

Spreading Kindness Into Our Community With All of the Essentials
Funded Oct 22, 2018Our students were so excited to learn that we had been funded for this grant. They wanted to start unpacking boxes and sorting items right away. We were able to prepare multiple care packages for local shelters to provide items that the families staying there would need. Our students will soon be working on making cards and additional projects to share with these families as well. We are hoping to continue to spread kindness into our community in the coming year by adding more student members to our club. We are so grateful for your support of our project, our students, and our community.”

Funded Mar 27, 2018This project was focused on spreading kindness throughout our school and inspiring our students with the use of positive quotations to uplift them and the adults in the school. We started by displaying encouraging quotations, such as, "Be somebody who makes everybody feel like somebody," on five of the boards. We placed these boards on each of the tables at our faculty meeting. As teachers walked into the room, they were met with positivity. They were very happy to learn that they would be receiving their own message board to display in their classrooms. We have had a lot of great ideas on how to use these boards other than just with positive quotations.
Our entire school thanks you for your generosity and kindness!”

Funded Mar 13, 2018My students were so excited to see the boxes start arriving at our door. They couldn't wait to see what was inside. We opened them together and started taking all of the pieces out and talking about what each thing was and how we would use it in the classroom. Their excitement kept building as we took each piece out of the box.
We started using the magnetic base ten blocks right away. They were excited to see how many days that we have been in school, in a different arrangement than they are used to. We decided to use the math books during our math time. We have really been enjoying reading them and solving the problems. We are using the geometric shape building set and unifix pattern books during our morning work bins and as early finisher bins throughout the day. The students are so excited when it's their turn to build the shapes. This activity has really lead to a lot of great discussions among classmates.
We are so very appreciative of all of the materials that your generosity made possible for our classroom. Thank you very, very much!”

Funded Mar 27, 2018My students have been hoping that we would get a light table. We have one at our local children's museum and they love to interact with it. When they first starting seeing boxes arrive, they were so curious to see if it was the light table. The Magna-Tiles arrived first and they were equally excited. They wanted to start building with them right away. Unfortunately, they arrived right before the end of the school day so they couldn't play with them right then. They were disappointed but they were really looking forward to coming back to school the next day to enjoy the new materials.
I can't thank you enough for these items. You have given my students something that we had never dreamed we would be able to have in our classroom. I wish you could see how happy these materials have made them. Thank you so much!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple.Future Engineers of America!
Funded Mar 27, 2018We arrived back to school after a field trip to find our engineering supplies waiting at our classroom door. The students were thrilled to see the boxes and knew that meant that there was something special inside for them. We opened the boxes before they went home and we talked about the different activities that they would be able to do with the STEM kits. We sent home the bags that very day, I couldn't squash their excitement by making them wait! Parents were emailing me before I even arrived home that day. They were so excited about the kits too!
Thank you for giving my students and their families a valuable activity to work on together. These items have made a very positive impact on our students. Thank you so much!”

Funded Sep 27, 2017I wish you could have seen the looks on the students faces when I handed them their school supplies for their homes. There was so much excitement and cheers of joy. This means so much to our students and their families. I had a mom tell me that her son filled out his All About Me book the same night that I sent it home. She said he was so excited he didn't want to go to sleep. I had another parent comment that it was so nice to be able to have real kid supplies at home. These supplies are so beneficial to our students.
Thank you so much for supporting our students and for making this project come to life.”

Science, Technology, Engineering, Oh Math!
Funded Aug 8, 2017My students are thoroughly enjoying their new STEM items. We have been using them daily to learn about moving parts, coding, how different shapes interact with one another when building, and so much more! We have built robots, gears, and a space station. We have also been working to have our Code-a-pillar work its way through a maze and around objects. We have new "makerspace" center in our classroom where our students are creating STEM projects everyday. The next step for us is to introduce angles by experimenting with laser beams and mirrors. Thank you so much for your support and generosity. We appreciate you!

Unlocking Young Minds One Class at a Time
Funded Mar 29, 2017The new hands-on literacy and math activities have been a huge hit. We have used them in both kindergarten classrooms and also in the activities that we have held after the typical school hours.
When the students first saw the materials they were so excited. They opened the boxes in a frenzy and before we knew it there were keys, locks, screws, and engaged children, everywhere! We will continue using these materials in our math and literacy times and also for fun.
Thank you again for your generosity and willingness to support our classroom. Your help is greatly appreciated!!”
