Kindergarten Love ELMO part 2
Funded Aug 30, 2010Thank you Claire Gianni Fund for choosing my project. I felt like I had won the lottery when I found out you had funded both of my projects, Elmo and the projector. For a teacher like me who wished upon a star of owning an Elmo one day and maybe get a projector to go with it, is like a dream come true.
I am using the twenty first century teaching tools in my class daily and I am loving it. Story-time is enjoyed by all since even the smallest illustrations come to life on the big screen. Everybody can see and participate because we all have access to what is being presented. I especially had fun teaching a math board game with the help from Elmo. By projecting the board and the spinner, all students learned to play at once.
Your generous donations have made learning fun and real for our students. We are truly thankful that you cared enough to support the education of the future.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Kim

Kindergarten Photo Journalists
Funded Aug 30, 2010Thank you for your generous donation. We are so excited to have this important teaching tool to use in the classroom. We are keeping a record of our school events and picture journals.
Students are enjoying taking pictures and sharing with their family what we are learning in school. Our parents have volunteered to develop the pictures and even sharing it on- line to inform many fun activities that our class participated in.
You have given us another way to involve our parents into our classroom. With this camera, we will continue to take pictures to keep memories and friends close to our hearts. Thank you so much.”

Painting a Rainbow Dream
Funded Mar 19, 2010Our kindergarten students were more than excited to use the art supplies that you have sent us. It is being used not only in art projects but also in other subjects. We measured the colorful pastas. Puffy pom- poms have been used to create patterns in math. Wiggly eyes were part of scary aliens from outer space for our creative writing. Wonderful glitter stickers enhanced our Mother's Day bookmarkers. Thanks to you, we are having lots of fun using the art supplies!
Your donations have really enhanced our projects. We are so blessed to have donors like you- giving your time and money to support our children. We truly appreciate your generous donations. You have made a difference in our lives by letting us paint our rainbow dreams.”

Funded Mar 19, 2010Thanks you for your generous donations. We were ecstatic when we found out our project was funded. Our class was thrilled when the CDs and the ribbons arrived.
We have used aerobic music to move and stretch our body in the mornings. Another class even joined us to dance in the auditorium. We love to jump to the Bunny Hop and flap our arms to the Chicken Dance. We are learning our left from our right by moving to the Hokey Pokey Song. Rhythm sticks and hand ribbons have been a wonderful addition to our music and movement program. It teaches us about steady beats and rhythms. It is so much fun and helps everybody stay flexible and fit.
We want to thank you again for making music an enjoyable part of our lives. Your donations heightened our kindergarten learning experiences through music and dance. ”

Funded Jan 21, 2009Thank you so much for your kind donations. My kindergarten students were so excited to open the gifts. It was as if Santa came to our class with the Christmas presents! You have made it possible for the students to get excited about learning.
We are matching, sorting, naming the alphabets. The alphabet games provide the students to work independently, so that I can work with individual students.
Dr. Jean's music gives us a great workout in the morning. Moving and dancing to the music, wakes us up and get excited about starting a new day.
Thanks to your generous gifts, we are really having fun learning.
You are the best”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Kim
