• Science of Planting

  Thank you for giving us a chance to see spring happen in our classroom. After a long and cold rainy winter, we were finally able to plant seeds and wait for spring to come. With your donation, we planted cosmos, sunflowers, pumpkins, hollyhocks and marigolds seeds.

  With the help from our families, we planted flowers to make our patio colorful and inviting. Our students have been taking turns in watering the plants.

  Soon we will watch the larvas take its life cycle into beautiful butterflies. We appreciate your generous donation in bringing spring to our student's class.”

• Path to Learning Math

  Thank you for funding this hands on manipulative for math in a fun way. Number sense is a major part of math curriculum in kindergarten. All the games that we were funded have made a positive attitude about learning math.

  We are using the ten frame card games to add ten and more. The double dice game allows students to add both dice to find the answer. Although it is challenging, students are working together and excited to do math. The gift card is a lifesaver for me to find a perfect activity to enhance my lesson. We appreciate all your support.”

• Pencil Box for Goldilocks

  Goldilocks desperately needed pencil box to organize all the school supplies. The boxes came just in time to start the school year. We have learned to organize all the materials in a safe and sturdy containers. Individual students are learning to be responsible with their own pencil boxes.

  Also, it's been fantastic to laminate student's art work for keepsake. Parents appreciates receiving the art work that is well preserved. The two supplies that you provided will last the whole year. It really means a lot for all of us. Thank you so much.”

• School Supplies for the Wise

  Funded Aug 10, 2022

  Thanks to the much needed cassette audio boombox, we can sing and listen to music to start our day. Our students love to sing to the varieties of music and movement songs. It brings smiles as we start the day with songs about rhyming words, spelling, numbers and holiday songs. We also use the boombox at the listening center in a small group activity where students listen to books on tape or CD. Singing to hold pencil correctly and using pencil gripper has helped our penmanships too!

• Dealings With Feelings

  Social and emotional education are a big part of our curriculum in kindergarten. Being able to label our feelings and what to do to calm down is an ongoing exercise that is crucial.

  Thanks to all the books and games that were donated to our class, we have been able to have fun and learn. The Little Dot books helps us talk about different feelings that corresponded to the colors. Sensory liquid timer give students another way to calm their feelings down and it diverts them to move away from their strong emotions.

• Back in School 2021

  Our class appreciated all the treasure toys and candies that made learning and coming to school so much more fun. We have bee rewarding students for having a positive behavior with each other in class and out in the yard.

  By learning all their sight words students get a big size gummy bears. Excellent homework and class work earns stickers or a treasure to take home. All the goodies that they get to earn really motivate our class to do better in respecting others, responsible for their materials, and being safe with other students.

• Back to School Essentials (Part 2)

  Funded Jul 23, 2021

  Starting a brand new school year with students without any school experience has been challenging. However, the gift of essential materials to get started with organizational folders and journal books allowed our students to see progress in their illustrations and in writings.

  We have been keeping science journal with illustration of plant cycle, labeling the parts of a tree, and drawing the weather. This really showed students progress since we can go back to compare our work. We have been using the colored folders to see growth in our writing adding new vocabulary words for each unit in language art.

• Back to School Essentials (Part 1)

  Starting a brand new school year with students without any school experience has been challenging. However, the gift of essential materials to get started with positive rewards such as certificates, stickers, toys and positive notes have been an important materials. I have used positive behavior rewards with treasures that students will enjoy taking home.

  The clear plastic pouches help display students art and writing activities on the bulletin boards. I have also been able to use the laminating pouches to make a priceless gifts to take home to families.

• Resume With Clean Room

  Funded May 4, 2021

  Your donation, in starting a brand new school year with much needed supplies to keep our room clean and safe, made a huge difference. Our students have been supplied with hand sanitizer, soap, disinfecting wipes and masks.

  Although we have our school janitor cleaning and disinfecting our room, we are careful to clean up after ourselves with all the products. All students are lined up to get the pumps to clean our hands and we use the wipes to wash our desks regularly. Thank you for your generous support in making sure we have a safe and clean room to learn.”

• We Will Surpass with Desk Shield in Class

  Thank you for supporting a safe return to school for 2021 school year. It has been another challenging year as we welcomed our students back to school. All of my kindergarten students have never been in school, therefore, reinforcing rules daily is a major part of the curriculum.

  Thanks to your donation, our students are benefitting from the wiggle stool that seats individual student with flexible and safe space. It allows the squirmers to rock back and forth without falling off the stool. It has been very helpful for my students. Your generous gift have made learning enjoyable and safe.”
