  • I Can Hear It Clearly Now

    Thank you so much for making this project possible! I did this project on behalf of my whole teaching team. I was able to give each classroom on my team a class set of headphones for their students to use.

    What a difference this has made in our classrooms! The noise level when they are to work quietly in class has been reduced significantly. They work better and learn more when they are not constantly talking to their class mates.

    I have learned that kids at this age do not like silence! They crave the noise even if it is talking. So thank you again for making this possible!”

  • Exploring Our World

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! This project was to get additional books so all my students could have one of their own. You made that possible. My students love this work book and it makes learning fun for them.

    My students ask to work in this book everyday, although we can't use it everyday, it is a large part of their first quarter. I have been creative in using these workbooks so that I don't have to order a new set every year. Sometimes they work alone and sometimes in groups. I love the fun they have with each other and the competitive nature that they have.

    They are proud of their successes!”

    I wanted to say a heartfelt thanks for all you have done for my class. I would love to share pictures, but we are not aloud to. I have used these books for 1 year now. My kids love them! They are so colorful and clear on the instructions and how to find the answers. I have students who have a hard time learning in a traditional way. So having these books with pictures is so much more inviting for these students! To watch these kids finally "get" it, is amazing. By donating to my project you have allowed me to teach class to all my kids!”

I am always looking for new ways to engage my students. This year I have decided to use National Geographic Kids World Atlas to help us travel through Western Geography. It is a big bright Atlas that will keep the students engaged in each country. We have many projects that we will use these for throughout the year. They will be well used. I will need 25 sets of the National Geographic Kids World Atlas. This will become my class set of these books. I will keep them in my room for the students to be able to use each day. I believe my students will engage so much more in Geography with these tools. Thank you so much for your consideration of my students' needs.
