Many of my 6 and 7 year old 1st graders face economic and personal hardships at home. A lot of them have lead tough little lives already. Our school focuses on helping not only our students, but also their families. We link our parents with resources and opportunities that will help take care of their families. As first graders, my students are developing a foundation for learning that will positively impact their future as growing learners. They are naturally curious and excited about technology. As their teacher, I would like to take advantage of that to teach them how to respect and learn from technology at an early age. It is my hope that this will set them up for success as they go on to first grade and beyond!

About my class
