In my classes, I have students who thirst for the knowledge of history and I have others who are there just for a grade. My students consist of varying levels of academic abilities (students with disabilities and Gifted Intelligence). Many of the activities in class have students interacting with each other to exemplify their strengths and work on their weaknesses to give them the skills to be successful in any class. Essentially we are using history as a verb. They are researching, taking positions and learning from each other.
