  • Spring Into Reading!

    This school year I taught only math and science to my third graders. With that being said, my classroom library went basically untouched and I never got to see their love of reading. That is, until your generous donation of books that I planned on using next year when I begin teaching reading again. Little did I expect my math students to JUMP at the chance to read the books. Even my students who are low-level readers LOVED the graphic novels!

    We were even able to utilize the brand new books after state testing, in which they got to sit at their desks and read silently while waiting for their friends to finish up. Your donation has made my students and I overjoyed and we cannot thank you enough! These books will be used for many, many years to come and loved by so many kids.”

  • Magic Carpet

    We've been thrilled to incorporate the new classroom rug into our learning environment! It's become a central part of our daily routine. For instance, during our daily "Community Meeting", the rug serves as the perfect cozy spot for students to gather around. The vibrant colors and soft texture made the space inviting and engaging, which encourages more active participation. It's wonderful to see how such a simple addition can enhance the classroom atmosphere and foster a sense of community among the students.

    When the students first saw the new classroom rug, their reactions were filled with excitement and delight. They immediately noticed the bright, colorful smilies, which attracted them much more than the older, less inviting carpet we had before. The rug has quickly become a favorite spot in our 3rd grade classroom. Their positive response made it clear that the rug was more than just a new piece of furniture—it was a welcome enhancement to their learning environment. Having this new, larger rug will impact my scholars for so many years. Our community appreciates you endlessly!”

  • Prepping for the PSSAs

    Thank you so much for your amazing donations to my classroom. Because of you I was able to give my students special treats during all five days of our state testing! They did not have to stress about writing utensils either because they all had brand new pencils as well.

    We have a no gum chewing policy here at our school, but during testing I allow students to chew gum to keep them focused. They were excited to have different flavors to choose from. I have a couple students that did not like chewing gum, so the mints made them super happy. Having a full belly made them all that much more successful on the PSSAs, I'm sure. We were also able to practice for two whole weeks before the test because of your generous donation of a practice booklet. We can't thank you enough for helping to make testing less stressful and more enjoyable!”

  • “Ease”l into Learning

    Yay! Thank you for funding our easel project. I am joyful and excited that we are finally going to have an easel on wheels. We are definitely going to put it to good use during reading and writing. Most importantly, I can’t wait to share this easel with my young students.   • Super Snacks

    These tasty snacks have made for a very happy bunch of students. They were so excited on Friday to come to the prize box and pick a new sweet treat like the Push Pops. The variety of snacks they now get to choose from widens their choices as well as exposes them to different kinds of snacks they may not be exposed to in other settings. This donation will easily keep their bellies full until the end of the school year. Thank you so much for making sure that we have all we need during the school day to keep our students full and happy.
