My class is from a very diverse background. There is a high Spanish population, many of whom have parents who speak minimal English. All students are designated to receive free lunch. We are an inner-school that has only 1 computer lab, which is barely up and running, for 900+ students. The school and staff are really working hard to bring all students to meet and hopefully exceed their potential. I think increased technology is one way to work on educational equity, while motivating students at the same time.
