Breathe Easy!
Funded Aug 12, 2020Thank you for providing a sense of security for my students, and myself. Having the air purifiers with additional HEPA filters have helped to make sure our classroom is as safe as possible for all of us to learn and grow. When I walk into the classroom each day, one of the first things I do is turn on the air purifiers. I set the eight hour timer, so they stay on throughout the students' day, as well as while I'm working in the classroom after school. In combination with regularly sanitizing surfaces around the classroom, it is reassuring to know the air we are breathing is clean as well.
During a time when there are so many unknowns, it's refreshing to know that there are so many people like you who support students and learning in public schools. We are all grateful for your donations.”

Funded Sep 9, 2019It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give, toward Family Engagement Fun. With the literature, games, math packs, traveling bags, and storage units, the students have gained the ability to practice skills In a fun way at home. It has been a positive influence that they have access to engaging, bright, and colorful resources to use both at home and at school.
Having access to these materials has helped my students to share a piece of their learning with their families. The students are more engaged in using the games and activities, than they have been in using traditional homework practices.
Again, thank you for your donation. My student's faces lit up when the supplies arrived! And they continue to light up every time they get a new pack to bring home.”

Mrs. Smith
Flexibility at Its Finest!
Funded Aug 22, 2018In the short amount of time since receiving the new materials my students have gained so much. There are many students in the room who require frequent movement breaks throughout the day in order to stay focused. Having access to the wobble stools, balance balls and wobble cushions, alleviates so much stress for these students. They also provide flexible seating options for students throughout the classroom. One student in particular, even brings his wobble cushion with him to specials. He knows how much more easily he is able to focus while sitting on the cushion, and will now participate in activities more frequently.
Thank you for all of your donations. The smiles on my students' faces are priceless. We are truly thankful for this opportunity.”

Funded Jan 1, 2017In the short amount of time since receiving the Chromebooks and headphones my students have gained so much. We were fortunate to be able to have our district's technology specialist come to teach us how to best use our new technology. My students have been busy practicing their typing skills, playing educational games, and have even begun learning research skills. I look forward to learning about exciting ways to incorporate our new Chromebooks into our everyday learning.
Thank you for all of your donations. The smiles on my students' faces are priceless. We are truly thankful for this opportunity.”

Funded Sep 1, 2015Thank you again for your support in purchasing the rug and pillows for my second grade classroom. From the moment the items were delivered, not a day has gone by that they were not used in various situations.
The students love to gather on the rug, which is now big enough for all of us to fit around. The color is a perfect calming blue, and it is so comfortable, it's hard to resist laying down on it. On the very first day that the rug was in our room, the students immediately took off their shoes and got really comfortable during our Writer's Workshop. They were all working so hard, and were sharing the area so nicely that it brought a huge smile to my face. Even my colleagues have come into the room, and taken off their shoes to stand on the rug.
The pillows are also such a wonderful addition to the room. I had originally envisioned them to be used in a break area for students to calm themselves when the work got tough. Now the students love to use that area to work comfortably. They will lean on the pillows while reading with partners, or completing work independently.
I wish you all could see the smiles that formed across each child's face from the moment these items were delivered. They all take pride in keeping the rug and pillows safe from the harms of spilled snacks, or even pens and markers. It is nice to see how much they truly care.
Thank you from all of us!”
