• Snacks Needed!

  Our students will be so excited to come to see ALL of the boxes of snacks that will be arriving to our classroom! It will be the perfect way to start the beginning of this semester off on the right foot! The students will be so happy to help unpack and organize all of the different breakfast and snack goodies! It will be so nice to have this restock to our snack closet!

• Cooking Time!

  We are absolutely thrilled that this project funded! We plan to utilize it for learning to cook activities, sequencing activities following recipes, and to heat up student lunches when needed.

  Creating recipes and then getting to bring to life will be so much fun! We will be able to share this between all of our special education teachers/classrooms to enable many students the opportunity to get to be a part of this project!

• LEGO Speech Activity

  Our students will be so surprised and absolutely excited to come to school and see ALL of the LEGO people and bricks that will be arriving to our classroom! These LEGOS, used for creative projects, will last us through several weeks and even years of activities! My students love LEGO activities. They are so creative and it's provides such an avenue for collaborative projects.

• Motivation Is Key!

  Our students will be so very surprised and absolutely excited to come back from Fall Break and see all the snacks/treats and motivation/incentive items that have arrived to our classroom! • Ice, Ice, Baby!

  Our students (& fellow special education teachers) were so surprised to see this ice machine being delivered to our classroom! We are so very much excited to have quick access to ice! We wanted to help our students and teachers stay hydrated so they can stay focused. Everybody will be drinking more water which will help in keeping us all hydrated! It also will be used for sensory bins and the making of ice packs as well!

• Classroom Storage!

  This grant was for a rolling cart and small table with storage for my speech-language therapy classroom. It is a huge task to reorganize and utilize the small space in this speech room! I try to work on it little by little. The rolling storage cart will be so handy and fits just perfect into the small space I have! We will be able to utilize these items for speech sessions when completing various fun propjects throughout the year!

• Snack Brain Break!
