I currently work in a rural school in upstate New York. While the building has changed, the community has not. They have a mix of different student population, but one thing is for sure, our students need a welcoming environment to come to. That is why I strive to make my classroom better. I want more collaboration, more learning and less stress about testing. I have been working as a teacher for the past seven years, and I know one thing, our students are changing; but many classrooms have not. My goal is to change this.
