• Put the Fun in FUN-damentals!

  Thank you so very much for your donations to our class. Since the arrival of the materials, the students are constantly asking to use them! They just love using the new dry erase boards when we are writing, working in small groups...even during free time! I've never seen them write so much!

  The letter of the week chart has been a great addition to our morning meeting space and center activities. It allows me great flexibility and additional examples for the students to use beyond what I was using previously. I know that it has been very helpful, especially for students who are reading below grade level. Thank you again for your support. I know that without you, we would never have reached our goal!”

• Learn Differently with iPad

  Thank you all for your amazing and generous donations to our class project. Now that the iPad has arrived, the students are loving the times they visit the tablet station. They are focused and attentive the entire period they work, while also completing all tasks assigned. I am simply amazed at the level of learning that the students achieve while working with the iPad.

• Fix Those Phonemes!

  THe reaction to these new materials in our classroom has been amazing! The students love to visit the new centers and work on improving their phonemic awareness (understanding of letters and their sounds). After I introduce the center, the kids are very engaged in the centers. I have already noticed a remarkable improvement in their phonemic awareness, rhyming, blending, etc since introducing these materials in the classroom. • Technology: Gateway to the 21st Century!

  Thank you all so much for your generous donations to our project. Since the arrival of the iPad Mini, the students have been enthralled! Everyday, they look forward to the new games we have downloaded. They are excited to use them during math and reading lessons. We have found many ways to work them into the day. They kids even use them during silent reading and partner reading. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness. I know that we would not have these materials if it was not for the kindness you have showed us!”

• An Apple a Day

  The ipad has been in our class for over a month now and boy have things changed! The kids are so enamored with the ipads during reading centers, it's difficult to get them to stop! They just love all the literacy games that we were able to download onto the ipad for them to use. There were even a few we found that coordinate with our reading program!

• Powered Up Learners!

  Since the arrival of the ipad Mini, it has become everyone's favorite station to work at! My co-teacher and I have added a number of apps for the students to use during center time. These apps Ave helped reinforce things that have been taught in class previously. The students also enjoy using the "Superkids" app which is linked to our reading program. Through this they are able to re-read the stories we have previously read in class. The students are very engaged during this time. It also helps those students for whom English is a second language.

• Soaring in the 21st Century

  Since the arrival of the Acer the students in our classroom have really enjoyed using the Internet during center time. They love visiting the "Superkids" website, by Rowland Reading Foundation and listening to stories they have read during guided reading. This additional layer of support has helped build their reading fluency. It has also helped those students foe which English is a second language, become more comfortable with reading.

• New Supplies for a New Year!

  Thank you very much for your generous support of our project. The students have loved using these materials since their arrival in our classroom. They are always asking us to find new ways for them to use the stencils and other materials in he classroom.

  The labels have helped make identification of materials in our classroom so much easier. The students are able to find their materials quickly and easily without having to ask others for assistance. It has really increased their independence.

• Customized Learning!!!

  Thank you for your donations to our class project. We have been able to create many new games thanks to the ink we received. The kids absolutely love playing learning games instead of using boring textbooks. They truly are more focused and engaged.

  Since we started to use the writing folders, they love having a place to keep all the work for writing. They are able to keep their best work neat and tidy, while also having a place to store pieces that are not quite finished.

• Education Essentials!!!

  Thank you very much for your thoughtful donation to our project. The kids were very excited on the arrival of new supplies for our classroom. The first thing they did was ask to clean the dry erase boards. I never saw kids so excited to clean! They have loved using the colored dry erase markers, especially during math centers. It seems to make their day come alive!
