3rd Graders Want to Tie-Dye
Funded Apr 24, 2016Thank you all so much for your generous donations to this project. Your support of education and our students is greatly appreciated. This tie dye project is a favorite for our students and has been made possible this year by all of you! Our students love designing their shirts and they love to wear them on field trips and for school events. It is a great team-building experience for all of our 3rd graders.

Three 'Cs' Through Art Integration
Funded Nov 9, 2015My students have absolutely loved having our new art materials. We have used them for a wide variety of projects. My students are currently creating a class book, which we will have published. Our new markers have been perfect to use for their illustrations. The color is so bright and vibrant. My students are so happy with how their pictures are turning out. I can't wait for their families to see the finished product.
Our class was thrilled when I introduced the new materials. They were especially excited to have an electric pencil sharpener. They love using it to sharpen our new colored pencils, and of course their regular pencils. These new materials have made a daily difference in our classroom.
We have flexible seating in our classroom so all of these materials were perfect for creating shared supply bins for each table. We are so grateful for your support of this project. My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support for education and art is appreciated.”

Stand Up for Learning
Funded Jul 11, 2015Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting this project. Stand-up desks have been an amazing addition to our classroom. My students absolutely love them! They truly enjoy having the option to stand and work. It is such a great release of extra energy for my students to be able to stand and to not be confined to sitting at a table. Of all of the work space options in our classroom, the stand-up desks are by far the students' favorite place to work.
I feel good about the fact that my students will experience health benefits from having the option to stand and work. Obviously, that is important to all of you too and I appreciate your support of education and of the health of our future.
My students were over the moon excited when our stand-up desks arrived and that excitement has not gone away. It is their go-to work space option, so much so that I am looking to add even more to our classroom.

Eager Readers Seek Comfy Reading Corner
Funded May 27, 2014Thank you so much for your thoughtful donation and generosity. The materials you helped to fund are used in our classroom on a daily basis. The students use their book boxes to keep their leveled books neat and organized. This way, their books are ready to go and they can spend more time reading and less time searching for their materials. The reading pillows help create a more comfortable and home-like atmosphere during reading time. Students love to use them. The storage shelf and bins have also helped keep our classroom organized and students are able to quickly get materials when they need them.
My students were so excited when our materials arrived. There were many cheers in our classroom the day they were delivered. They are very thankful and appreciative of your thoughtfulness.
This project has helped our classroom stay neat and organized. All of these items allow things to run smoothly and students are able to easily get the materials they need. Our classroom is more functional for students and myself, and for that, we are very grateful.”
