Social Emotional Learning!
Funded Sep 18, 2024I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donations. They have made a HUGE difference in the lives of my students. The materials are used every day, and they have truly helped the students communicate their needs for sensory breaks or snacks to regulate their emotions. I want to emphasize that the skills learned in school are not just for the classroom; they can be applied outside and contribute to your child's overall development. We believe that fostering these skills helps children grow into well-rounded individuals.
Thank you so much for your support!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Kevorkian

Funded Jan 2, 2024I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude for your generous donation. Thanks to your contribution, our students are now able to use the materials to create vision boards emphasizing healthy habits, practicing good hygiene, and encouraging others to prioritize their health as well. Your support has enabled us to create a safe and engaging space for our students to share their health goals. It is truly appreciated.
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your hard work and dedication to our students, especially those with disabilities.
I wanted to highlight the significance of the communication supplies we have in place for these students. It can be challenging for them to express themselves verbally, and these supplies play a crucial role in helping them communicate with us effectively. Your support in utilizing these tools with the students is truly valued and makes a meaningful difference in their educational journey.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all our students.
Your support means a lot to us, and I truly appreciate your dedication to our students' well-being. Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Kevorkian
This classroom project was brought to life by The Allstate Foundation.Kinderg-ART-en is Great!
Funded Jan 11, 2019Thank you so much for all of your donations! The teacher and students were so happy when all of our supplies arrived at the school. I had a few students help open the boxes and sort the art materials. As we sorted the materials to put in our new art closest the students could hardly contain their excitement.
Currently, the teachers are using the materials with the students to create their Black History Month projects. Each class has chosen a historical figure to study and create an art piece to represent the historical figure. They plan to share their work with their peers!
The art materials that we received from this project has changed the life of our students and teachers. Our classrooms and hallways are now filled with color and life! You all have made a huge difference in the lives of the students here at P36K!
Thank you again!”

Communication Is Key
Funded Aug 9, 2016First and foremost, thank you again to everyone who made a donation to the project, "Communication is Key." The project was created in order to purchase an iPad for my English Language Learners (ELL) who struggle communicating with their peers as well as their teachers.
On a daily basis the iPad is used to teach the students academic and social vocabulary that is needed to carry out a meaningful conversation. The students respond well to the educational apps that have been installed to help further their communication skills. The iPad motivates ALL of my students to participate in any given lesson and allows them improve their computer skills.
Once again, thank you for helping my students have a voice!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Kevorkian
