Crayola Model Magic for Magic Students! (Part III)
Funded Jan 16, 2009Thank you very much for your kind donation! Without your generosity, my students would not have had an essential ingredient for their latest masterpieces- reconstructions of ancient Mesopotamian monuments.
When I announced to my classes that we would undertake this assignment, I was immediately asked, "When? Will we start building today?" This is because there is nothing my 6th grade special progress students enjoy more than a real hands-on activity- a chance to roll up their sleeves and work with their hands, as well as with their imaginations.
As the start of the project drew nearer, students again asked, "When can we actually begin building the models?" Soon they were able to start, and there is no other place on earth like a classroom where motivated children are actively engaged, pursuing their own interests, and building something meaningful to them.
Thank you again for helping to make my classroom magical through your generous gift of Crayola Model Magic.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Larkin
