    Funded May 11, 2017

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my students and my classroom! I teach many visual arts students and these supplies were hand-picked by them for what would be the most useful to their art education.

Any free time my students have is devoted to drawing, painting, photography, etc. These sketchbooks, pencils, pens, and watercolors will get so much use throughout the year.

I am really grateful to be able to provide these resources to my students, many of who cannot afford them themselves.”

  • Doodling in 3-D, Science and Art Unite!

    Funded Mar 30, 2017

Thank you for your awesome donation to my classroom! The 3-D doodle Pens are to be such a great resource for my students to be able to create and design in such a unique way!

I teach students who also are taking Advanced Placement 3-D Design and when I opened up the packages, their eyes got wide like it was Christmas morning! I purposely did not give them too many directions but instead told them I did not know what to do and they had to figure it out! This caused them to take ownership over the process and they are excited to teach the teacher what to do! Thank you again for your generous donation to my classroom.”

  • Families Design Mini Landfills in a Chemistry Classroom

    Funded Nov 29, 2016

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom! Thanks to you, I was able to get resources for my classroom for a really engaging project for my students to investigate landfills, garbage, and how to improve their school. While I ended up slightly changing my original project idea, the garbage cans were used by a group to test whether the students at our school could effectively recycle when they were faced with a garbage can next to a recycling can. Through their experiment they learned that most people could indeed recycle successfully. Additionally, I had students investigate how our groundwater could be contaminated through landfills and I was shocked when one group learned that throwing e-waste into a landfill can release heavy metals into our water supply!

Thank you for this opportunity for my students.”

  • Breakout, Not Breaking Bad!

    Funded Mar 30, 2017

I am so grateful for the opportunity to get these Break Out Kits into my classroom! They have been amazing and we have only used them once! Students were excited, engaged and so thoughtful with the scenario I gave them for their first breakout experience.

Now that they have experienced a breakout scenario first hand, their final project this year is to develop their own Break Out game and already the stories and Chemistry skills they are incorporating are awesome! This project and these kits have truly allowed for some innovative and creative thinking in my classes. I can't wait to start off next school year with more scenarios to help my students with team building skills at the beginning of the year. Thank you so much for this opportunity!”
