I am at a loss for words. I am so appreciative of your donations and the impact they will make in our building. Thank you for seeing the worth in my project and giving my students the tools they need to make change. It is people like you that are the heroes. Thank you.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Kistler
This classroom project was brought to life by The Allstate Foundation and one other donor.
Thank you all so very much for donating to my project helping me to better meet the needs of my students. I really appreciate your generosity and dedication towards education. Due to your donation, my students will now be better prepared to become life long learners. I now have more resources to scaffold learning for students who want to thrive as readers but need extra assistance. Thank you for helping to brighten their future. They will be elated to know that there are people out there like you that have faith in them.”
The students that I service have been chosen to receive remedial reading services based of the analysis of their MCAS, DRA, STAR, and DIBELS scores along with teacher recommendations. A lot of these students do not have the support outside of the school in order to motivate them to become better readers. They come to school everyday yearning for an education, although there is some push back from them, they thrive off of the teacher support and dedication, our school is a home, a family. With so many obstacles in their way, I want to help them enjoy school by finding highly desirable text to help teach them the important skills they need and resources to meet their needs.
