• Cheer Life but Safety First

  I am so full of joy and excitement thank you for your donation so the cheerleaders can be safe on mats. I am elated that this project was funded so quickly. It is amazing to know that you share my vision for the safety of my student-athletes.

  This funded project will help my girls practice safely and the impact will be huge. Last year we had no mats and we were forced to go outside and practice on the turf at the local rec. We have 25 young ladies on our team and these mats will keep them safe as safety is our number one priority.

  These mats that you have funded will enable my girls to practice on a safe surface. I am able to have the girls participate with the added safety of new mats. My athletes are so excited to be able to spread out and use the space as we prepare to win our next competition.”

• We Need Books Please Help!

  Thank you to our donors who have donated. The girls are really enjoying the novel. They are more engaged and have become excited to come into the classroom to read their book. Now when you walk into my classroom, you see all the kids reading all around the room. You see them really understanding the text and connecting with the characters. They have become more interactive and I can already see how much their reading has improved.

  I thank you for giving our students an opportunity to be moved by a book. They have really been able to relate to the characters and can imagine what it would be like to have a "everlasting" life. They have been able to see themselves in her position and feel what she's feeling. My students are enjoying this book so much that they are reading ahead and can not wait to discuss with me and their peers on what is happening and all of the symbolism.”

• Safety, Cheer Mats, Competition - She Believed She Could, So She Did!

  I am so full of joy, excitement, and thanks for your donation to my project. This was my very first project and I am elated that it was funded. It is amazing to know that people share my vision for the safety of my student-athletes.

• I Love to Read

  My students loved our new novels. When my students first saw the new novels they all wanted to start reading. When my girls found out each one of them would be able to keep the novel and we would not have to have a PDF copy of the novel they all screamed for joy. Everyone was ready to write their name in the book so no one else could take their book.

  Thank you for supporting my students with this project! The goal of the project was to provide my girls with their own novel so we could read the next novel the District requires us to read. I also wanted to start each girl off with her own library at home with a book she has actually read. My goal with my students having this novel is for me to be able to teach them the concepts that are needed through the reading of the novel so my girls are able to demonstrate tremendous growth in PARCC and Student Reading Inventory test.
