  • We Are Published Authors Time to Eat and Celebrate!

    Funded Mar 24, 2025

My students have worked incredibly hard writing and publishing their own poems, and I'm thrilled to say they've truly earned a well-deserved celebration. Thanks to your generous donation, we were able to host a special event complete with a delicious meal of fish, chicken, and fries. Your support helped transform their hard work into a joyful and memorable experience they'll always cherish. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and belief in our students. Your generosity truly makes a lasting impact.”

  • Published Authors Let's Celebrate 2

    Funded Feb 28, 2025

Our students have achieved a remarkable milestone—they are now published authors. Their original poetry has been featured in a professionally published book, a testament to their hard work, creativity, and growth as young writers. This accomplishment deserves to be celebrated in a meaningful and memorable way.

Recognizing student success is not only a celebration—it's a powerful driver of continued motivation and engagement. When students see their efforts honored and their progress valued, it allows them to have a deeper commitment to their learning journey.

To commemorate this achievement, we planned a celebration that reflects the pride and excitement our students deserve. Your donation helped us provide essential items such as chips, cookies, candy, juice, and ink to print words of affirmation in color around the classroom to create a joyful experience for our student authors.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. H.

  • New Year Same Novel

    Funded Dec 9, 2024

The novel Look Both Ways: A Tale Told in Ten Blocks by Jason Reynolds and Alexander Nabaum is a novel that my students enjoy. Every day, my students look forward to reading this book. Written by an author who shares their background and grew up in a neighborhood like theirs, the novel resonates deeply with them. They connect with the characters and their experiences, many of which mirror their own lives. Even students who typically aren't enthusiastic about reading are engaged and excited, finding joy in the story while mastering essential standards. Thank you for helping to inspire a love of reading in my students!”

  • Time to Restock

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

My students absolutely love the Fiji water, and the bottle size is just perfect for their needs. With colder weather keeping us indoors and germs more prevalent, the tissues with lotion have been a much-appreciated comfort for soothing their noses. The addition of the Freebbze air plugs and essential oil has created a fresh, inviting aroma in our classroom, making it a more pleasant and welcoming space for everyone. We have not yet, had to use the Tide pin but I am sure it will come in handy. Thank you for providing these thoughtful items that truly enhance our daily environment!”

  • Indoor Recess Fun

    Funded Dec 9, 2024

My students were absolutely thrilled to receive new games! They were overjoyed as they opened the boxes, and the excitement was contagious. We couldn't wait to dive in—Operation was an instant hit, and we played it together during lunch that very day. Hot Potato has quickly become a favorite, with my students eagerly playing it nonstop during indoor recess. Uno continues to be a timeless favorite, bringing endless fun and friendly competition. While we haven't yet had a chance to play Cornhole, I have no doubt it will bring just as much joy and laughter as the other games have. Thank you for bringing so much happiness to our classroom!”

  • Testing Done Time for Fun

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

A big thank-you for helping us buy the Pizza Hut pizza! It was an absolute hit, and the students truly enjoyed the delicious variety of flavors. There's something so special about sharing a meal together—it brings smiles and laughter.

This pizza event before winter break fostered a sense of community and belonging among the students, creating an atmosphere where everyone felt connected and valued. Your support made this possible, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity. Here's to more moments of joy and togetherness in the future!”

  • Hot Chocolate for the Holidays

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your contributions to making our hot chocolate and cookie gathering such a success. The students truly enjoyed the experience, and it was wonderful to see them coming together, laughing, and sharing stories over their favorite treats.

For those who are allergic to chocolate, the peppermint tea option was needed, ensuring everyone felt included. The caramel and chocolate sauces were a huge hit, adding a touch of sweetness and fun to the hot chocolate. And the peppermint spoons? A delightful detail that added a festive flair!

Thank you for your support, we could not have made this happen without you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. H.

My students love to read and with each girl having her own novel she will be able to take home the book and read. Reading is a way to escape the chaos and go live inside their imagination and go wild. These books will allow the girls to start their own personal library. No one should ever be denied access to having their own personal library. Each girl having her own novel is something she will be able to keep with her for a lifetime. By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase student attention and focus and increase their academic achievement.
