Every year, I see the unbelievable power that fascinating books have to unlock the curiosity, passion, empathy, and determination in my students. With access to these texts, each of the students who walks into my room thinking that they will never succeed at reading will find a book that lights them up inside, and gives them the motivation to keep struggling through our daily phonics lessons until they can finally sound out words and push through texts on their own.
