Our school is a Title I (high poverty) school with nearly 90% of the students receiving free/reduced lunch. Approximately 60% of students are attempting to speak English as a second language. Our classroom is a mixture of general education students as well as those who receive special education services accounting for 24%. Our students have many obstacles that they work hard to overcome each day. Learning is often challenging enough when you can speak the language and don't struggle with a learning handicap. Anything you are able to contribute would make a large difference in the lives of my students.
