Our school is made up of over Five Hundred K-6th Grade Students. The school population is composed of primarily African America, Latino and Caucasian students. 93% of our students are on free/reduced lunch and a majority of those same students have a background that has been marked by trauma. Just as the poverty percentage of our school families is high, so is our commitment to ensure that we don't let something like the amount of money in someone's wallet prevent us from educating our world's future leaders. We take our jobs very seriously at our school. However, we also teach the importance of humor and humility. Students utilize our PBIS program to remember that it is important to be respectful, responsible, safe and kind across all different kinds of settings.
