I am a high school math teacher form a Title 1 school in Eastern KY. My goal as a teacher is to educate students about the beauty and usefulness of mathematics, but that is not my only job. My other jobs are to instill responsibility in my students, to give care to them when they don't receive it anywhere else, to comfort them during the difficult times, to push them further than what they think they can do, to help them back up when they fall, to be their coach. Everything I do for my classroom is for my students and not for myself. I hope that I'm able to teach my students how to be better people and become a better person myself in the process.

About my class
