This project would go towards filling an essential gap in our percussion section. Students would use the concert bells everyday during rehearsal of concert repertoire and warmups. All of my students would benefit with these resonant bells by being able to hear accurate concert pitches in a band and chorus setting, moving them closer to refined tonality. Students would be able to learn music theory and basic keyboard techniques. The bells would also be used to teach incoming 6th graders how to play during the summer. The ringing of the concert bells would also echo for years of concerts to come, students will undoubtedly take pride in their sonorous quality.
