Welcome to the fabulous world of fifth graders! I teach Language Arts, which includes spelling, English/grammar, and reading to my team of students. I also teach Science to my team of busy fifth graders. Our school is located in a community that values the importance of education. This school is a Title 1 school, which means among other things, that most of our students are on the free and reduced lunch program. More and more of our families are having trouble with the every day things of life like providing good food and clothing for our students. These kids come to school to have the great experiences we can give them through their education and for the safety and consistency we can provide. Our school has a special education focus on students with emotional disturbance and behavior disorders. We also have students with various educational needs from limited sight to autism
