Chart Stand for Imagination!
Funded Sep 20, 2022Thank you all so much for your donations in order for my students to gain a chart stand for learning. It has helped so much during our group lessons. We recently started using a new phonics program and the students love coming up to the chart stand to "be the teacher" and read all the new sounds we are learning. The chart stand is also great during our small group lessons, allowing the students to have a large visual close by and easily manipulated. It has been such a great addition to our classroom environment and I am forever thankful to all of you who support my classroom.”

Funded Apr 24, 2022Thank you so much for your support and donating to give my students a kidney table. They were so excited when it got delivered and even more when they were able to sit next to their peers during group work. This table has helped so much in our everyday classroom. Working with students with special needs, it can sometimes be hard to sit at individual desks. With the help of this table, my students are able to sit with one another for group reading, math, science, and even cooking activities. They are all able to see and experience what is going on at once without having to move throughout the room or moving around another student that may be in the way. We have been able to work together so nicely and it has changed my classroom dynamics for the better! Thank you all again so much, it means the world to us!”

Help Send Students With Autism Supplies!
Funded May 24, 2020Thank you so much for your donations that allowed me to print and mail my students work during this difficult time. With your donations I was able to print multiple packets of work for reading, math, writing, and even social emotional learning to my students when they ran out of what was initially sent home to them in March.
They and their parents were so excited and grateful to receive this work because not all of my students enjoy completing their work on an iPad. Some of my students benefit more from pencil and paper practice and this was tremendous that I was able to use every supply to send them work to continue with this.
Thank you again so much for this opportunity to be able to send my students materials. I will continue to utilize it with my new students for the fall if we continue to be remote. Parents will have the option to have packets mailed to them or to continue work online.”

School Supplies for Amazing Students!
Funded Aug 27, 2018Thank you so much for all of the donations that provided my students with school supplies. These school supplies are vital in the classroom setting.
My students were extremely excited once they saw all of their new supplies. They were so happy to each have their own special supply box filled with pencils, erasers, scissors, and crayons. These supplies are perfect to teach my students responsibility and taking care of their own belongings and supplies. They loved it the first time I told them to take out their supply boxes, no need to share anymore!
Thank you again for the opportunity you have given my students. They are proud to have their own supplies and take care of them.”

Funded Mar 6, 2017Thank you so much for your generosity. It truly means the world to my students to be able to incorporate technology into their everyday lives. They love being able to work for the chromebook to play on their favorite sites and watch their favorite videos. My students are also learning the keys on the keyboard, which can at times be very difficult for them because they are in a different order than what they are used to learning. Thank you again for thinking of my students and allowing them to have access to something so great.”

Sensory Tables for Children with Autism!
Funded Jun 1, 2016Thank you so much for all your support with this project. My students are so happy to be able to use these sensory tables each day. They were so intrigued by what was in them at first that they all pulled a chair up to it right away! I did not even need to show them what it was because they were already playing with it having a great time!
Each day we are able to have sensory time for the students which helps keep them calm and receive the sensory input that they need. It is great having a sensory table with four different bins because each student has a different need or preference. Two students love the sensory noodles the best, while two others prefer the sand and water play.
I am so appreciative for each donation that we have received towards these items. Thank you all once again, you have all made a difference to each of my students this year.”

Help! We Love Storytelling, But Need Some Supplies!
Funded Oct 10, 2015Thank you all so much for your contribution to my classroom. My students were so very excited when the package arrived and could not wait to see what was inside the boxes.
These storytelling supplies have been a lot of fun to use each day! The students love to be able to interact with the characters of the stories that they love. My students have limited comprehension and retelling skills and these felt board pieces have helped them expand on these skills by giving them a visual that they can manipulate. This helps give them some tactile and visual aid in order to help develop progress in comprehension and retelling. The iPad has also been a wonderful addition to the classroom. During one to one instruction it has allowed students to work using the technology that they love and learn at the same time. We have started using both math and reading programs that are wonderful and help each student in a different way.
Thank you so much once again for your contribution. My students say thank you! These items may seem small to others but to my students they mean the world! Thank you!”

Ms. Kaitlin
We Need Supplies!
Funded Sep 14, 2015Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students were so excited when the donors choose package arrived at our school. They could not wait for me to open it and show them what was in store for them! I must say the puzzles were the biggest hit!
With your help, my students are able to practice their cutting skills with their new scissors, practice motor skills as well as identification skills with the puzzles and letter cards, and also find an outlet in our sensory area.
I am very grateful to all who had donated and helped my students work towards achieving their goals. Thank you once again, I cannot say that enough.”

Help! Kids with Autism in Need of Sensory Materials!
Funded Oct 22, 2014Words cannot express how much it means to me and my students the generosity that you all showed by donating to our classroom. With the sensory materials that were donated to our classroom, students have the opportunity to have the sensory time needed when they feel frustrated or just when they need a little bit of sensory input. Through these items, my students are also more focused at times because they have these items by their side and can use them when they need them.
Through the use of materials such as the weighted snap bags and weighted shoulder lizard my students are able to focus and attend to read alouds and independent work. The am/fm radio and headphones allows my students to participate in a listening program with our OT's to help students refocus as well. Finally, the moon sand and play dough kits give my students the opportunity for parallel and social play with one another. They love working with these items and they allow them to talk about what they are creating with one another. Each of these items may seem small and not so important to other classrooms, but to mine, they are necessary to help my students achieve success.
I see such a great improvement in my students each day and you are all part of the reason I see this. Thank you once again for your generosity and believing in my students.”

Ms. Kaitlin
Help Us Tell Our Story! We Need Supplies for Writing!
Funded Dec 10, 2013It is so difficult to find anything better than thank you to offer as gratitude. You have made the students in my classroom so happy and eager to learn because of your generosity. My students are extremely eager to learn when it comes reading now. By giving them the opportunity to read interesting articles in Scholastic to creating their own "Memory" books with the hardcover book, they have come to life to express themselves.
Many of the students in my school have difficulties learning new material. They are very visual/hands-on learners who benefit most from interacting with materials. Through the use of the word spacers, my students are able to see exactly how they should be spacing their words with the help of the bookworm. They also are having so much fun learning phonics without even realizing it through the use of the Phonemic Awareness game for the Smart Board!
I see such a great improvement in my students each day and you are all part of the reason I see this. Thank you once again for your generosity and believing in my students.”
